Founded in summer 2018, in Johns Creek, Georgia. Artistic Director Antwan Sessions and then, Assistant Director Dana Crigler open the doors of Namari Dance Center. A center where children with the aspirations of becoming a professional dancer could come to study Ballet, Jazz, and Modern dance. During their inaugural year, Antwan and Dana made their mark in their community to where they outgrew their location.
In the summer of 2019, Antwan Sessions joined forces with Co-Owner Shervoski Moreland and moved Namari Dance Center to its current location in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Where they have 2 amazing studios and a reception area with seating. Studios 1 is approximately 900 square feet with marley floors and 12 windows giving the studio a storefront appearance. Studio 2 is approximately 700 square feet, and floor to ceiling mirrors.
August 2019, Antwan launched NDC's Home School Program where students who wanted to receive additional technical training during the day could come and receive training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Stretch, and Conditioning as well as, Antwan's signature style he calls the Namari Technique.
With an urge to step into the competition world of dance. NDC launched ND2 Competiton Team with only 4 students and took the competition world by storm with their 1st place wins at competitions such as Showstoppers and Believe.
Most recently Antwan Sessions and Dana Crigler partnered up once again and started Namari Dance Conservatory. Designed for students who are interested in a professional career in the concert world of dance.
